 Johnny & Joni Jones are collecting hats, toboggans, gloves, socks and underwear
for the children of the Interfaith Hospitality Network’s Christmas Party, as
well as gift cards from Wal-Mart, Target or Food Lion to be given to the adults at
the party. There’s still time to donate! Donations are being collected until Dec. 9th!

Karen Freeman is collecting cans for the homeless.

Ashley Luck is coordinating the Christmas bags for the elderly! They are collecting
basic needs for the elderly to be delivered for Christmas in festive red bags!

Peggy Stradley is coordinating the Prayer Quilts to be delivered to Cancer Patients
at the holidays and beyond!

Joann & Shaina Shaw are participating in the Cookies and Christmas program!

Paul & Cherie Randazzo are giving coats, gloves, hats, blankets and food to the
street people this Christmas season and are planning to continue their giving
year ‘round!

Bryan King wants to help collect and donate toys for underprivileged kids at
Christmas, through the Salvation Army or otherwise.

Shirley Routh’s Care Group, including Mary Jackson, Peggy Fulp, Sylvia King,

Deane Stokes, Pat VanKirk and Phyllis Renn are participating with the Interfaith
Hospitality Network by providing a meal for the guests, and they are also having
a Christmas Tea and Tree Decoration at the Assisted Living Facility.

Evan & Danielle Evans, with their children, Brittany, Mitch and Lexi, have
adopted a Burmese Family with our Adopt-a-Family program!

Kim & Michaela Johnson, with Don & Lydia Bulla & Ben & Beth Ward have
adopted a family and hope to teach them English and help them to adjust to
American culture.

Danny & Dolly Jennings and family are collecting as many good, used bicycles
as possible to be given to the Kalaing families. They will be collecting them, and
making sure they are repaired and ready to ride!

Daryn Harrell and Jen Farlow, with the Route 56 & I-7 students are collecting
diapers for the Pregnancy Care Center and are putting together a Christmas
Tree for the Interfaith Hospitality guests as well as collecting hats and gloves for
their Christmas Party, and the girls in the group will be going to the retirement
center on December 9th to paint the ladies nails.

 Willing Workers Sunday School Class Members are individually looking for ways
to serve their neighbors in any way they can.

Virginia Ferguson meets with her neighbors at Piedmont Christian Home, having
devotions and prayer time.

Amber Collins is coordinating Amber’s Teddy Bear project to bring bears to Cancer
Patients as well as Goodie Baskets for family members and trays of treats for
nurses on in the Cancer Center.

The Outreach Sunday School class is going to the Alzheimer’s Hall at Westchester
Manor to provide the residents with gifts, refreshments and do someChristmas 
Caroling with the residents on December 8th.

Maxine Hinkle is taking a tray of goodies to her neighborhood fire department and 
EMT because they have been so wonderfully responsive, helpful, and kindhearted
to her and her family in their times of need.

Kari Allison helped to collect Christmas ornaments for a friend in her Bunco
group who had lost all of her ornaments in a storage center mix-up!

These are just the ones we know about… and we continue to hear about more
projects all the time! Please share what you are doing with us, so we can all
celebrate what God is doing!

Debbie Barwick and the Young Adult Group are sponsoring a World Vision Child
throughout the year as well as adopting their neighborhood by taking goodie
bags around and asking how they can pray for their neighbors. They will also be
asking if there are any physical needs to be filled. They are looking for donations
of appliances, heaters and beds of all sizes for this project as well.
